Basic Info -

Humidity : Humidity can range from 49% to 79%

Precipitation : 8.9 inches to 10.8 in some areas to 27.82 in others

Temperature : Ranges from 95F to 104F

Location : The chihuahuan desert is located in western Texas, northern Mexico, and parts of New Mexico and Arizona.

The Rio Grande Valley (RGV) runs along the rio grande, our border between the U.S. and Mexico.

The Texas Hill Country includes Austion, San Antonio and small towns like Luckenbach, Fredericksburg, gruene, Kerrville and Utopia. This is a popular place for summer camps and retreats.

 

More Info -

Deserts more to the west (in Texas) may have a higher elevation and more mountains, while deserts more to the east may be more like plains.

There are little to no lakes, but there are many salt flats and dry lakes.

Deserts in Texas typically thrive with life, they tend to be pretty diverse in people and other organisms.

Texas doesnt legally have a desert, because its rainfall isn't low enough.

Rio Grande Valley isnt a valley, but a desert.
